Further notes on the Snakes (Serpentes) of Fourni Island

RIASSUNTO
Nel presente contributo vengono fornite ulteriori notizie sui Serpenti dell’isola egea di Fourni (Grecia). In particolare nuovi reperti indicano che Montivipera xanthina è distribuita in tutta l’isola. Vengono fatte inoltre considerazioni sulla particolare fenologia di alcune specie ofidiche in certe isole egee.
ABSTRACT
This contribution provides further information on the Snakes of the Aegean island of Fourni (Greece). In particular, new findings point to Montivipera xanthina is distributed throughout the island. Considerations are also made on the characteristic phenology of some ophidian species in some Aegean islands.
