Parte ufficialmente la seconda edizione di Carapelli For Art,
premio internazionale per le arti visive con cui la storica azienda olearia Carapelli Firenze conferma il proprio sostegno alla cultura.
Online il bando per l’iscrizione alle categorie “Open” e “Accademia”
Carapelli è lieta di annunciare la seconda edizione di Carapelli For Art, premio per le arti visive.
Dopo il successo dello scorso anno, con oltre 500 partecipazioni, quest’anno il premio si estende a livello internazionale coinvolgendo l’Italia, l’Inghilterra, la Francia e gli Stati Uniti.
Sono due le categorie del premio su cui si pronuncerà la giuria, Open aperta a tutti gli artisti professionisti, e Accademia rivolta agli studenti delle Accademie di Belle Arti di vari paesi.
Con un montepremi complessivo di 12.000 euro divisi tra le due categorie Carapelli intende dare un sostegno concreto alle arti visive. Gli artisti vincitori saranno premiati nel corso di un evento e le loro opere entreranno a fare parte della collezione Carapelli.
Il tema della seconda edizione è “Unione. L’incontro tra le varietà che porta a nuovo valore”: in arte la creazione, a livello dell’idea e della pratica, inizia dall’incontro tra più pensieri, materie, occasioni. Questa varietà è condizione essenziale per realizzare qualcosa di nuovo che prima non esisteva, qualcosa che con il suo valore, interpretandolo, arricchisce il reale: l’opera d’arte. Il tema di quest’anno intende sottolineare la capacità che ha l’arte di armonizzare ciò che è differente, in tante declinazioni: dalla resa formale e concettuale al rapporto con il pubblico, fino al modo in cui l’opera viene recepita nella società e riesce ad agire, in via diretta o indiretta, su di essa.
Un tema centrale per Carapelli, la cui maestria olearia, da oltre un secolo, valorizza le diverse varietà di olio di oliva.
Le iscrizioni sono aperte fino al 15 luglio 2019.
I vincitori verranno annunciati durante il mese di settembre 2019.

From April 15, on World Art Day, online the rules for the categories “Open” and “Academy” of the second edition of Carapelli For Art, international award for visual arts with which the historic oil company Carapelli confirms its support for culture.
Carapelli is pleased to announce the second edition of Carapelli For Art, prize for visual arts.
After the success of last year, with more than 500 entries, this year the prize extends internationally involving Italy, England, France and the United States. There are two categories on which the jury will decide, Open for all professional artists, and Academy addressed to students of the Academies of Fine Arts of various countries. With a total prize pool of 12,000 euros divided between the two categories, Carapelli intends to give concrete support to the visual arts.
The winning artists will be awarded during an event and their artworks will become part of the Carapelli collection.
The theme of the second edition is Blending. The union between the varieties that leads to new value, what is capable of creating new value: «In art, creation, at the level of the idea and practice, begins with the encounter between multiple thoughts, subjects, occasions. This variety is an essential condition for creating something new that did not exist before, something that with its value, interprets and enriches the real: the work of art. This year’s theme aims to underline the ability of art to harmonize what is different, in many ways: from the formal and conceptual to the relationship with the public, to the way in which the artwork is received in society and can act, directly or indirectly, on it. »
A central theme for Carapelli whose quality is the result of a competent blend of the best varieties of olive oil.
